This is the story of a little girl who played with braids. She braided everything she could find, all the time and everywhere she went. She did it so often and so well that as she grew up she perfected her art and became increasingly meticulous. And this little girl dreamt of a spectacular wig… a most unusual accessory indeed. An immense crown made up of braids and inspired by traditional Russian headdresses, framing a pale, serene face.
But it doesn’t end there. She began exploring how to turn this impressive object into berets and headpieces all woven from braids, for a graphic and ultra-feminine look. Multi-faceted too: depending on how these extraordinary hairpieces are worn, they endow their wearers with an allure that’s very modern or very serious. They can be surprising, they can be edgy, it’s entirely up to you…
Braiding is the interlacing/knitting of strands of hair. It’s a painstakingly meticulous job. “Clean” Marisol takes this ordinarily reasonable and sensible object to a whole new level. No matter the degree of “unwearable-ness” or “avant-gardism”, those who wear La Tresse Parisienne must above-all be embellished, as if by a jewel.
Handmade in Paris from very high quality synthetic hair (“Because it can be a bit strange wearing someone else’s hair…”), the La Tresse Parisienne collection offers several types of accessory.
These objects are crafted by using traditional know-how, but with a resolutely modern and contemporary charm… Best of all they’re so easy to put on yourself!
Make an appointment at the La Tresse Parisienne’s corner of the trade fair where Marisol and her team will offer every client an attachable hairstyle, such as a braided chignon with a very neat finish or a more tousled movement. Always contemporary and elegant, the principle aim is to flatter the individual.
